About You

We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician who can join our team and contribute to our success. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to production teams, improving OEE, and reducing waste. Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Pune Sanaswadi Mill. In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing mechanical maintenance and technical support to production teams to drive OEE improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Working with production, process, and procurement teams to plan and deliver repairs and installation activities linked to critical manufacturing equipment.
  • Driving MRO cost savings by indigenizing OEM equipment parts without compromising service quality.
  • Implementing predictive maintenance systems to eliminate breakdowns proactively for converting and packaging assets.
  • Maintaining health of secondary packing equipment to ensure zero delay and uninterrupted manufacturing through effective AMC.
  • Supporting critical spares planning for newly added or upgraded primary and secondary equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems and implement solutions.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and inventory management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
