Key responsibilities include design validation, preparation of DFA, DMU, and GD&T documentation, tolerance stack-up analysis, and resolving integration and assembly-level issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough integration checks for complete vehicle assembly to ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare detailed DFA (Design for Assembly), DMU, and GD&T documentation to facilitate efficient production.
- Conduct comprehensive tolerance stack-up analysis to validate assembly requirements.
- Resolve integration and assembly-level issues in EV development to meet quality standards.
- Integrate newly added components and electrical peripherals to enhance vehicle functionality.
- Maintain accurate vehicle-level CAD and prepare AIS drawings for regulatory compliance.
- Create assembly sequence documents and torque sheets according to design specifications.
- Manage vehicle BOM and release data packs for procurement purposes.
- Support initial mule builds and coordinate with suppliers for design queries to ensure timely resolution.
- Design and develop enclosures for electrical components and vehicle harnesses to improve safety and efficiency.
- Define and execute design verification plans to guarantee regulatory compliance.
- Participate in PFD, PFMEA, and APQP documentation to ensure process excellence.
- Drive cost and warranty reduction initiatives to enhance business competitiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to promote knowledge sharing and growth.
