Python Automation Tester Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Python Automation Tester to join our QA team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Python-based test automation, API testing, and continuous integration.

The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative Agile team focused on delivering high-quality enterprise solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using PyTest.
  • Performing API testing using tools like Postman or Python's Requests library.
  • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

In addition to the key responsibilities, the ideal candidate will also participate in all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

The team works closely with developers and product owners to define testing strategies and ensure coverage. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python automation testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Pytest framework.
  • Experience with REST API testing using Python and tools like Postman.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing life cycle.

Candidates should be comfortable working from the Noida office and have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
