Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs, cloud infrastructure, and database systems.

The successful applicant will be responsible for architecting, designing, and maintaining a highly secure and scalable backend system using AWS services. They will also be expected to build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support mobile and web applications.

  • Architect and design a highly scalable and secure backend system using AWS services
  • Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support mobile and web applications
  • Lead infrastructure decisions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, Cognito, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS)
  • Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases focusing on performance, indexing, and data integrity
  • Integrate AI APIs/tools into the backend for moderation, recommendation, and automation workflows

Required skills include 5+ years of hands-on development in Node.js or Express/NestJS, proficient with TypeScript, REST API standards, WebSockets, and microservices. Expert knowledge of AWS services: Cognito, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch is also necessary.

Database engineering skills include experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL solutions like DynamoDB. Ability to design normalized schemas, manage migrations, write optimized queries, and handle large-scale data flows is required.

AWS & DevOps Architecture skills include expert knowledge of networking, authentication flows, and cloud security best practices. Strong understanding of time-series data, analytics DBs, and familiarity with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar CI/CD tools is desired.
