We are seeking a professional to play a key role in detecting, analysing and preventing fraudulent activities using data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will work with large datasets to identify suspicious patterns, anomalies and potential fraudulent behaviour. They will develop SQL queries and Python scripts to automate fraud detection processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve fraud prevention strategies, build dashboards, reports and insights to support fraud investigation and business decisions.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as engineering, statistics, math, economics or business.

  • 0-6 months of experience in a related field.
  • Candidates from Tier 1 colleges are expected to apply.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, business or related disciplines.
  • Possesses analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Possesses strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.
  • Extremely proactive communicator willing to raise flags when needed and keep team members informed of ongoing risk or fraud-related activities.
