Senior Bookkeeper Job Opportunity

As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for owning daily posting and month-end close for multiple locations. Maintaining a standardized chart of accounts by brand is also essential to this role.

You will reconcile bank/credit card/merchant accounts and third-party delivery or marketplace deposits on a regular basis. Additionally, you will match POS sales to deposits and resolve over/short cash variances.

Key Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in SMB or franchise bookkeeping, with a strong preference for multi-unit roles.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, including classes/locations, bank rules, and recurring journals. Xero expertise is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one Point of Sale (POS) system and marketplace/aggregator reconciliations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP basics, sales tax, payroll journal entries, and multi-state nuances.
