About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM implementation and delivery specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering SAP S/4Hana MMPP solutions to business stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with executive and senior leaders to develop and maintain operating plans that align with the company's strategic vision.
  • Acting as an anchor for major initiatives and aligning stakeholders.
  • Partnering with business and technology partners to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Taking ownership of the complete lifecycle for solution delivery to business, including requirement discussion, scoping, design, delivery of customizations and custom developments, testing, and adoption of business solutions based on the SAP S/4Hana MMPP and integrations.
  • Collaborating with the Information Security team to deliver solutions that adhere to security standards.
  • Solving business problems by providing alternative solution approaches leveraging your functional and technical expertise.
Project Management Responsibilities

You will also contribute to project management and ensure prioritization, effort assessment, planning, vendor management, tracking, and control of IT initiatives undertaken for business on the latest SAP S/4Hana MMPP platform and integrations.

  • Defining and creating project plans for projects.
  • Evaluating trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value.
  • Partnering with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
  • Building, leading, and coaching multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Facilitating operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects.
  • Assessing and resolving high-priority project risks as they are encountered.
  • Ensuring all projects adhere to project methodology standards set by the company.
  • Continually updating relevant business stakeholders on project status.
  • Ensuring all projects meet success parameters and ROI targets stated in the business case.
  • Documenting process change notes, keeping application support run-book up-to-date, recording Observations, Analysis, Action Plan (OAAP) for all relevant IT processes.
Team Management Responsibilities

You will manage a team of technical and functional analysts and experts from within IT and service partners, guiding them on solutioning, architecture, modeling techniques, approaches, and methodologies to ensure successful delivery.

  • Setting and reviewing roles and responsibility and key initiatives for the team.
  • Imparting coaching and mentoring inputs to direct reports.
  • Ensuring proper rewards and recognition of direct and indirect reports along with career development planning for them.
  • Participating in monthly review process with IT leadership team and contributing towards continuous improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven industry experience of working in complex, high-volume, highly automated, and integrated transactional environments.
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4Hana PP/PP-PI, MM, QM, PM, MRP, and India localization-related business processes with hands-on SAP configuration experience and understanding of integrations with other modules of SAP S/4Hana.
  • Familiarity with extended supply chain execution systems and processes like PPDS, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Ariba Sourcing, Product Costing, etc.
  • Exposure to both Make-To-Order (MTO) and Make-To-Stock (MTS) business environments.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and process documentation skills.
