Job Title: PMS Coordinator
Join a dynamic team and take on the challenge of optimizing ship management processes.
Job DescriptionAs a PMS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ship management system. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze various aspects of the system, including maker manuals and exported data from other ERP systems, and prepare documents as needed. You will also be responsible for understanding and documenting client requirements, analyzing gaps between user requirements and system features, and providing input to the development team. Additionally, you will test and check functional aspects of modules developed by the team and produce desired reports/outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Documentation: Analyze various aspects of the system, prepare documents, understand and document client requirements.
- Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between user requirements and system features and provide input to the development team.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Test and check functional aspects of modules developed by the team and produce desired reports/outcomes.
- Training and Support: Contribute to training internal and external users on the system and related modules.
- Document Creation: Create software-related documents, such as feature documents, help documents, FAQs, and workflow documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3rd or 4th engineer or equivalent with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Shore experience in a shipping management company as a PMS coordinator/controller with an educational background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
- Experience and deep understanding of enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
- Strong organizational skills, project management, and cost analysis.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent typing and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
