Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Network Automation. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing network automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive network automation strategy aligned with organizational goals and network requirements.
• Evaluate current automation platform for further efficiencies and work on build vs buy strategies.
• Select and integrate automation tools and frameworks into existing automation framework.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of network devices to ensure consistency and reduce manual errors.
• Define performance and monitoring metrics for automation pipelines.
• Ensure automation solutions are scalable to accommodate growing network demands.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes and provide training to network administrators and engineers on automation tools and standard methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Significant stakeholder management experience in software development and delivery roles.
• Proven knowledge of multiple programming languages, third-party software products, and expertise in at least two of these.
• Familiarity with scripting and programming languages like Java, NET, Terraform, Python, YAML, and Ansible.
• Understanding of networks is beneficial.
• Ability to lead a team, hold responsibility for motivation, retention, and performance management, as well as promoting an inclusive and open culture.
