Ab Initio ETL Developer

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality data integration solutions using Ab Initio. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code to meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Co-op, Express-It, Continuous Flows, etc.)
- Involved in end-to-end implementation of Data Warehousing projects, which include Business Requirements gathering, Analysis, System study, technical specifications, Coding, Testing, Code migration, Implementation, System maintenance and Documentation
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing and ETL concepts and techniques
Requirements:
- Proficiency in developing SQL queries and functionality with various databases like Oracle
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- UNIX shell scripting will be an added advantage in scheduling/running application jobs
