Job Opportunity

The role focuses on driving the development, implementation, and support of solutions to meet evolving business needs.

  • Taking ownership of Guidewire ClaimCenter development is essential to implement and adapt to evolving business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams is crucial to scope, size, plan, develop, implement, and support projects within the Claims portfolio.
  • Evaluating and refining technical documentation ensures adherence to high engineering standards.
  • Establishing and maintaining robust unit and functional testing guarantees high code coverage.
  • Supporting and maintaining the ClaimCenter ecosystem, including integrations with Policy, Financial, CRM systems, external bureaus, third-party vendors, and service providers, is vital.
Technical Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT field, including 6+ years in Guidewire ClaimCenter integration development roles, are required.
  • Deep expertise in Guidewire APIs, GX Model, and Product Models is necessary.
  • 4+ years of experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies are preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with J2EE, Apache Tomcat, XML, Web Services, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred) is essential.
  • Proficiency in Java and GOSU programming with solid object-oriented design and development fundamentals is required.
General Qualifications
  • In-depth experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, with a preference for commercial insurance, is highly valued.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage resource planning, portfolio planning, and budgeting effectively are essential.
