Job Overview

Data Engineering Position

We are seeking an experienced data engineer to join our global distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines to support business growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain complex data transformations using SQL/Spark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer in Big Data.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python/Scala) and Big Data technologies (Spark/Databricks).
  • Experience executing complex data analysis and running complex SQL/Spark queries.
  • Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical skills, including understanding key dependencies among existing systems.
  • Able to quickly absorb new terminology and business requirements.

  • Agile methodologies and delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build partnerships with stakeholders.
