Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Salem, India. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a proven track record of building and managing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data engineering solutions using Snowflake, Databricks SQL, and other analytic data warehouse technologies.
  • Develop ETL processes using tools such as SSIS and PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Maintain and optimize complex databases and file formats, including MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement business intelligence and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and experience with version control systems like GitHub and SVN.
  • Familiarity with ticket tracking systems like Jira and development environments such as Visual Studio and SSMS.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in data engineering with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Expertise in analytic data warehouse technologies, including Snowflake (knowledge of Snowflake Cortex is a plus) and Databricks SQL.
  • Strong proficiency in ETL tools such as SSIS and knowledge of big data frameworks like Cloudera.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Experience with various databases and file formats.
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
