Job Description
A leading global IT professional services company seeks a highly experienced SAP Security Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Security and role redesign, with expertise in SAP security design principles and role architecture. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across various SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management.
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements, and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems, and SAP cloud access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks, and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.

Technology & Tools Exposure:
  • SAP ECC, BW, Solution Manager, S/4HANA, Fiori
  • SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
  • SAP Identity Management (IDM)
  • Soterion security management tool
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture.
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
