About the Role

This role is responsible for leading internal audits, optimizing audit coverage in line with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with internal auditors and firms to ensure effective execution of audits.
  • Provide oversight to management on control lapses and prepare reports for the management and board.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit observations and monitor timelines for audit completion.
  • Evaluate controls over operations, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Control Measures (RCMs).
  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise and provide extensive knowledge to others.
  • Identify risks and ensure their mitigation.

Requirements:

  • CA qualification or prior experience in risk advisory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, preferably in the banking industry or a professional services firm.
  • Ability to operate independently and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Strong writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Knowledge of risks and internal controls.
