Job Overview

We are seeking an Image Processing Specialist to contribute to the development of high-performance image processing pipelines for satellite optical sensors. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing efficient image processing algorithms, as well as experience with computer vision and machine learning techniques.

The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with data scientists, software engineers, and GIS specialists to integrate image processing pipelines into broader systems. They will also be responsible for ensuring the pipeline is automated, efficient, and scalable to handle high-volume satellite data processing tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient image processing pipelines for satellite optical sensor data
  • Apply cutting-edge techniques such as deep learning, object detection, and spectral analysis to extract meaningful insights from optical imagery
  • Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and GIS specialists to integrate image processing pipelines into broader systems
  • Ensure the pipeline is automated, efficient, and scalable to handle high-volume satellite data processing tasks
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in image processing and computer vision algorithms
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using libraries like OpenCV, GDAL
