Space Science and Technology Documentary Film Internship

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the production of a high-impact documentary film showcasing India's advancements in space science and technology. As an Assistant Director Intern, you will be involved in script development, research, and creative coordination throughout the project cycle.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director in day-to-day activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Support in developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
  • Conduct background research on space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Film school student or recent graduate with an interest in scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
