Accounting Manager for Manufacturing Operations

Genpact, a global professional services and solutions firm, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services for a manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and cost reports, compile analysis and reports of accounting activity and data, and prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs, evaluate and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger, and analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory, conduct audits, reconciliations, and analyses, ensure inventory records are accurate and up-to-date, and assist with budget preparation and budgetary control for plant operations.
  • Operational Support: Provide financial analysis and thorough reporting of plant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), assist with the weekly financial estimate, and work with operations to resolve variances.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, oversee all regulatory reporting requirements, reconcile all accounts within the required timeframe, prepare all monthly bank reports, and consolidate all financial statements and ensure their accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CA/CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Relevant years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment, supervisory experience may be required for managerial roles.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and good communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
