Process Excellence Specialist

As a seasoned Process Quality Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our company's quality management system. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in IATF 16949, EQMS, and customer-specific requirements to drive business growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve QMS through internal audits, corrective actions, and preventive measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes that meet the highest quality control standards, reducing customer complaints, scrap, and rework while ensuring IATF 16949 compliance.
- Drive QMS improvement by conducting annual reviews of work processes, procedures, and SIPOCs to identify areas for enhancement.
- Prepare and execute internal audit plans, ensuring thorough assessments of process, product, and QMS.
- Implement corrective actions and deploy them horizontally throughout the value stream to address any identified deficiencies.
- Report opportunities for improvement based on data analysis, including SPC, audit results, internal concerns, capability indices, and other relevant metrics.
- Compile daily, weekly, monthly reports, or other required documents from the company or department, incorporating PPAP, SPC, improvement actions, scrap, and operational reports.
- Provide training on QMS to all functions within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, technical, or related discipline.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in quality management system maintenance (IATF 16949) and quality function (preferably in the gear manufacturing industry). Extensive knowledge and experience with AIAG Core Tools (SPC, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP & MSA) are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Six Sigma, project management, interpersonal communication, and leadership skills development.
- Problem-solving using 8-D methodology, Fishbone, FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), and Why-Why analysis; Six Sigma knowledge is highly preferred.
