Senior Web Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Development Specialist to join our team. This is a key role that involves building enterprise-level websites that power nationwide platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in WordPress development and be able to develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates. They should also have experience with Gutenberg, Kadence, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates.
  • Build with Gutenberg, Kadence, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
  • Manage large-scale content uploads, data migrations, and integrations.
  • Optimize websites for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement responsive, user-focused layouts.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve site performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in large-scale WordPress development.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Skilled in Gutenberg, Kadence, and ACF.
  • Solid foundation in SEO and website performance optimization.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
  • Familiarity with WP Engine hosting, AWS, and Cloudflare is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
