Database Administration
  • Administrating Intersystems IRIS/Cache (Ensemble) platforms.
  • Implementing best practices for security and access control policies.
  • Conducting capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • Designing and implementing backup strategies in IRIS.
  • Designing and implementing disaster recovery strategies.
  • Implementing high availability and interoperability.
  • Implementing reporting and mirroring.
  • Installing, upgrading, and patching IRIS databases.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Managing database maintenance solutions.
  • Implementing monitoring and support tools in IRIS.
  • Understanding database design and data modeling principles.
  • Experience with integrating IRIS with ETL/BI software.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
  • Experience with release management systems like Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in Azure and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding IRIS/Cache (Ensemble) coding principles.
