Job Title: Front Desk Staff

Job Brief:

The Hosteller, a leading chain of backpacker hostels, is seeking a skilled Front Desk Staff to join its team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.

Job Role: Front Desk Associate/Executive/Assistant Manager/Manager (Hotels/Hospitality)

Duration: Full time

Location: Pauri, Gharwal Uttarakhand

Work Experience: 0-5 years (in hospitality)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the hospitality industry, including various functions, human resource requirements, vendor management, guest relations, housekeeping, and repairs/maintenance.
  • Understand the company's vision, business expansion plans, operational standards, and nuances of managing a hotel under a network.
  • Optimize hotel operations with a bird's eye view, ensuring high service quality standards.
  • Perform quality audits to ensure infrastructure, services, staff, and operations meet company standards.
  • Handle complaints, settle disputes, and negotiate with others to resolve grievances and conflicts.
  • Interact with customers to obtain feedback on product and service quality.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness in operating the hotel to maximize operational margins.
  • Motivate, mentor, and align co-staffs as per company-defined procedures and policies.
  • Liaise with various departments, including local police, health/fire/safety departments, and local vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background: Hospitality graduate or postgraduate.
  • Extensive operational knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Outstanding analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
