Acoustic Engineer

As a Sound Designer, you will be responsible for creating, editing and mixing relevant sound effects and music tracks for academic video lectures.

• Adding relevant sound effects to animations, experiments, and props usage is crucial in making the content engaging and informative.
• Cleaning up dialogue/narration audio ensures that the audio quality is high and consistent throughout the lecture.
• Syncing audio with animations and edits requires close collaboration with the video editors and academics to ensure seamless integration of sound and visuals.

• Proficiency in Logic Pro, Ableton Live or similar digital audio workstations (DAWs) is essential for this role.
• Experience in syncing sound for educational or documentary content is highly valued.
• A solid understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms, with the ability to use them for improving productivity and creativity, is a must.
• Knowledge of royalty-free music libraries and copyright standards is also required.

• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Collaboration with video editors, operations, and academics is essential to synchronise music and effects with visuals.
