Financial Accountant Position

About the Role:

  1. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  2. The successful candidate will have experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, as well as reconciliations and journal entries.
  3. Responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, such as tax and pension payments.
  4. The Financial Accountant will work closely with the Finance Head to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  5. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  6. A background in SAP is an advantage.
  7. Key Responsibilities:
  • Check and enter PC, supplier bills, and other TDS-related bills with proper supporting documents.
  • Prepare a monthly statement of TDS with TDS reconciliation.
  • Prepare a PC/labor liability statement and submit it to the Finance Head for approval.
  • Prepare a supplier liability statement within the specified period.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Update the Fixed Assets Register on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for preparing statements of statutory dues (TDS, PF, Service Tax, ESI, etc.) and remitting payments to the RO/HO.
  • Ensure GST compliances by checking and reconciling GSTR 2B & 3B & GSTR 1.
  • Monitor and report variances to management on a monthly basis.
  • Timely monitor and prepare BGs, LCs, Corporate Guarantees & Bonds with clients and banks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience working in the SAP environment is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
