Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Traffic Safety Engineer to lead our team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation infrastructure in the country.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough traffic safety studies, analyzing traffic data, and recommending improvements to enhance road safety. You will also be involved in the design and implementation of traffic control measures and systems, including traffic signals, signs, and road markings.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in traffic engineering, with a focus on safety. You should have a solid understanding of international traffic safety standards and guidelines, such as AASHTO and MUTCD. Additionally, you should be highly skilled in using traffic analysis software, such as VISSIM, to model and simulate traffic patterns and scenarios.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail. You should be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and be able to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation & Traffic Engineering is required.
- At least 10-15 years of experience in Traffic Engineering, Highway Design, Transportation Planning & Traffic Safety Studies is necessary.
- Excellent English communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with international standards such as AASHTO - Green Book, HCM, HSM, MUTCD, and ITE & FHWA guidelines is required.
- Proficiency in using transportation planning evaluation tools and procedures, data manipulation, and relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SYNCHRO, SYDRA, VISSIM, HCS, MS Offices) is necessary.
