Executive Portfolio Manager

Career Overview:
As a senior executive in the investments operations department, you will oversee the management of banking, settlement, and accounting activities related to investments. You will collaborate closely with the fund management team to facilitate decision-making and provide support for trade settlements.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of capital markets, including fixed income, money market, and equity markets. They will also need to maintain positive relationships with various investments auditors and bankers.
You will be responsible for cash flow management, ensuring the prudent deployment of funds and reconciliations. You will also settle trades across various asset classes, determine and settle margin requirements for derivative trades, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Additional responsibilities include participating in primary market operations, ensuring smooth closures of corporate actions, and performing daily bank and holding reconciliations. You will also comply with KYC norms for trade executions and work on SAP IMS, carrying out UAT for enhancements and smooth functioning.
Key skills required for this role include strong interpersonal, communication, and creative thinking skills. Supervising, leadership, teamwork, influencing, relationship-building, and decision-making skills are essential. The ideal candidate should possess a CA qualification, preferably in the first attempt, and advanced Excel skills.
