Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Laravel developer to join our team. This role demands strong Laravel skills and in-depth understanding of how to connect backend systems with various mobile-centric services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop secure, high-performance REST APIs using Laravel for mobile apps.
- Build and manage API endpoints for user authentication, product listings, search, filters, order management, and notification triggers.
- Create API logic to send push notifications via Firebase, OneSignal, or Twilio Notify.
- Integrate payment gateways: Stripe, PayPal, or Razorpay for one-time and recurring payments
- Implement payment webhooks, retries, and error handling
- Work with third-party APIs and SDKs: SendGrid (transactional emails), Mailchimp (email marketing & automation), Twilio (SMS, calls, WhatsApp notifications)
- Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3+ years of professional experience working with Laravel (7.x - 10.x).
- Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs for mobile platforms.
- Strong understanding of Laravel MVC, Eloquent ORM, middleware, and service providers.
- Solid experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging, OneSignal, or similar for push notification API endpoints.
- Knowledge of mobile app deep linking mechanisms and how to support them from backend.
- Hands-on experience with Stripe, PayPal, or equivalent payment gateway APIs.
- Working knowledge of integrating: Twilio for messaging & alerts, SendGrid/Mailchimp for email communication.
- Expertise in MySQL, writing optimized queries, indexing, and joins.
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
- Ability to write unit, feature, and integration tests (PHPUnit or Pest).
