Scalable Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer to design, develop and maintain scalable services using FastAPI and Django.

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable backend services that meet the needs of our users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain robust, efficient, and well-tested codebases.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop and deploy microservices from scratch, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability.
  2. Choose and implement optimal storage solutions based on specific use cases.
  3. Optimize server performance for low latency and high throughput.
  4. Implement monitoring, logging and debugging strategies using industry-standard tools.
  5. Work with asynchronous programming and understand Python's internals.
  6. Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute as needed.
  7. Maintain clean, maintainable and test-driven code with proper documentation.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional backend development experience with FastAPI and Django.
  • Proven expertise in building and scaling microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and Python internals.
  • Deep understanding of database design, including relational vs non-relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience in server optimization, performance tuning and profiling.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and debugging tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
