Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to design, build and manage scalable data pipelines for our cloud-based platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners and architects to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient data processing, ingestion, transformation, and storage components using Azure cloud services.
  • Develop new and/or enhance existing data management and quality rules components to ensure high-quality data.
  • Actively contribute towards setting up and refining data engineering best practices and processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a Data Engineering role with expertise in SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and views.
  • Experience building dimensional Data Marts, Data Lakes, and Warehouses using Snowflake, Azure DW, or Redshift.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including Azure Cloud Platform, ADLS, Blob, Talend, Apache Airflow, or TWS.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, analysis, and programming principles.
  • Experience with DevOps models utilizing CI/CD tools and agile methodologies.
