We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Illustrator to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Media Solutions department, you will create accurate and visually compelling medical and scientific illustrations that convey complex concepts clearly.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of professional experience as a Medical Illustrator (or related role in scientific/medical visualization) and a strong portfolio showcasing anatomical, surgical, and scientific illustrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D/3D medical and surgical illustrations, anatomical drawings, and journal cover visuals.
  • Collaborate with scientific writers and clients to understand technical content and translate it into precise and impactful visuals.
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in representing scientific and medical subjects.
  • Work on a wide variety of projects, including medical figure enhancements, journal covers, graphical abstracts, and educational diagrams.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining design excellence.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy in every deliverable by reviewing source material and verifying details.
  • Provide creative input and feedback to improve overall project output.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Medical Illustration, Biomedical Visualization, Life Sciences, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with 3D illustration tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema4D, ZBrush, or equivalent) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to understand and accurately depict anatomy, physiology, and medical concepts in visual form.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and tight deadlines with precision and focus.
