About the Role: We're looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Pune, focusing on the Operation and Maintenance of Aggreko's Modular fleets, including Diesel Generators, Gas Generators, Load Banks, Chillers, AC, and cooling Towers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and commissioning of modular portable fleets of generators, chillers, Load banks, and Cooling towers.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of company-owned fleets as per maintenance schedules.
  • Attend on-site service or breakdown calls.
  • Monitor and track site performance in line with commitments to clients, analyze performance parameters of on-site equipment, and take immediate corrective action with online support to site operators or in person if required.
  • Comply with Aggreko servicing schedules and procedures.
  • Plan and maintain minimum inventory of spares and consumables at customer sites.
  • Train operators and technicians, ensuring log sheets are recorded diligently.
  • Ensure all customer-operated sites have qualified operators to operate and maintain logbooks as per Aggreko standards.
  • Maintain breakdown analysis reports and make awareness of the problem to other engineers.
  • Ensure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with Aggreko's 'Green Card' procedure.
  • Ensure all work performed reports are approved by clients (on-site) and are legibly produced.
  • Ensure immediate response and minimal disruption to clients' requirements.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of work areas and service vehicles.
  • Effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime and unnecessary repair costs.
  • Customer satisfaction externally and internally.
  • Compliance to QHSE and ISO 9000 Policy and Procedures.
  • Compliance with 24-hour call-out policy.
  • Reporting all utilized stock items from depot stores.
  • Ensure all installations are carried out to Aggreko service manual standards.
  • Ensure quality of workmanship to maintain and enhance performance of equipment.
  • Reporting on competitor activity visible on customer sites.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships and communication on-site with clients.
  • Report any fuel spills, incidents, or issues within the QHSE policy.
  • Display a commitment to Orange Excellence initiatives.

About You:

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma or Graduate in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Diesel Engine OEM, Rental Power Company, or Utility Maintenance comprising DG sets, chillers, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of LHP-HHP Diesel engines.
  • Previous experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania/Caterpillar Diesel Generator engines on LHP/HHP generators.
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel/gas generators and its auxiliaries.
  • Well-versed in operating DEIF/Deepsea/Carrel controllers.
  • Worked Stamford/Leroy Sommer alternators for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Operate and troubleshoot fault on switch gears/breakers (SIEMENS/Schneider).
  • Basic knowledge on synchronizing generators.
  • Hands-on experience O&M and minor/major repairs of LV & HV transformers and switchgear panels.
  • Operation and maintenance of temperature control/HVAC equipment.
  • Basic knowledge on operation and maintenance of AC & DC Load bank.
  • Experience to work on HVAC fleets (Chillers/Cooling Towers/PHE/AHU) would be an added advantage.
  • Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings.
  • Good command of the English language, spoken and written.
  • Good communication skills must be able to complete reports legibly.
  • Possession of a light vehicle transport driving license essential for service vehicle driving.
  • Desired skill to work on MS – Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
