Unlock Your Potential as an MSS Transformation Oversight Lead

HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an MSS Transformation Oversight Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for managing central governance activities across the CTB portfolio and supporting the Head of Programme Office to define and embed a Center of Excellence construct for PMO resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute core governance oversight activities, including milestone, status, and RAID management
  • Support the Head of Programme Office in building out the PMO Center of Excellence
  • Manage reporting inputs to governance forums, including MSS ExCo, Execution Board, and Group
  • Own external stakeholder engagement, including Group, ORR, NFR, Audit, and 2LoD functions
  • Maintain oversight of the portfolio MSII Roadmap and drive MSIIs to closure
  • Maintain adherence to Change Framework standards and align to MSS Ways of Working
  • Proactively implement enhancements to existing central governance processes
  • Leverage tooling to streamline processes and support data quality uplift in PPM tooling
Requirements:
  • Clear understanding of the project lifecycle and strong portfolio management experience
  • Experience working in a global organisation in a change environment
  • Understanding of the Change Framework, project management methodologies, and best practice techniques
  • Demonstrate the ability to clearly identify outcomes at both programme and portfolio level
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to proactively manage tasks to completion
  • Working knowledge of Clarity PPM system
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills or experience of other visualisation platforms
  • Strong data literacy; management and analysis of large amounts of data
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive tasks proactively
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
