Job Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor for Computer Science and allied courses, AI/AIML/DS-Data Science/IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research initiatives, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributing to the growth and development of our institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster an environment that encourages research among students at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Lead research initiatives with colleagues and external collaborators, including internationally funded research projects.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and carry out associated examining processes.
- Apply and promote best teaching practices, demonstrating continuous professional development and critical reflective practice.
- Use and promote the use of a range of methods and techniques in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Develop and implement research strategy and/or teaching, bring in sponsored research projects.
- Lead on the design and development of the curriculum.
- Harness IT as a research and teaching tool.
Requirements:
- ME/M.Tech and BE/B.Tech in Computer Science /Information Technology from IITs, IISc., IIITs, NITs, reputed universities & throughout first class.
- PhD Degree in the relevant field of subject from Top Tier, reputed university.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
- Minimum 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.
- Post PhD publications and guiding PhD students is desirable.
- Industry and Global Experience is desirable.
