Job Title: Data Architecture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architecture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data management solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data management solutions: Develop and maintain data architectures that support business intelligence reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Lead data acquisition efforts: Gather data from various structured or semi-structured source systems to hydrate client data warehouse and power analytics across numerous health care domains.
  • Leverage ETL/ELT methodologies: Pull complex relational and dimensional data to support loading DataMarts and reporting aggregates.
  • Implement data quality measures: Detect data quality issues, identify root causes, implement fixes, and manage data audits to mitigate data challenges.
  • Maintain data integration efforts: Improve data efficiency, reliability, and value by leveraging best practices for data acquisition, transformation, storage, and aggregation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in creating Source to Target Mappings and ETL design for integration of new modified data streams into the data warehouse data marts.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Unix or Powershell or other batch scripting languages, Cerner Millennium, HealthEintent, CCL, Health Catalyst product offerings, Epic certifications, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud ecosystems, Amazon Redshift, Amazon S3, Hadoop HDFS, Azure Blob.
  • Soft skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to effectively communicate concepts verbally and in writing.
