CAD Application Engineer

As a skilled CAD Application Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our CAD systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with developing, customizing, and optimizing CAD software systems.

  • Develop and customize CAD software to meet business needs.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring they have the skills necessary to efficiently use CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their requirements and ensure that CAD software meets those needs.
  • Develop and update CAD tool documentation, ensuring that all relevant information is easily accessible.
  • Ensure compatibility and integration with other engineering software, streamlining workflows and improving productivity.
  • Conduct training sessions for CAD users, helping them stay up-to-date on the latest software advancements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Effective communication and training abilities, with a proven track record of successfully transferring knowledge to others.
