Graphic Designer Prepress Job Description

As a Graphic Designer Prepress, you will play a pivotal role in creating virtual mockups and preparing production files for decoration. This involves editing customer-provided artwork to company-specific product templates, emailing customers for proof approval, handling edit requests, creating proof and production templates for new products, troubleshooting and problem-solving design-related issues with files that affect production, vectorizing art when the provided artwork is raster, and possessing basic photography skills.

This role requires a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet deadlines.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in Graphic Design with an emphasis on production design
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Knowledge or experience in the Promotional Products industry (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge or experience with Imprinting and/or Engraving (preferred but not required)
