Job Title: Audit Manager

Internal audit managers play a pivotal role in an organization's overall health. They oversee and implement internal controls to prevent and detect financial errors, irregularities, and fraud. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

About this Role

This position involves overseeing internal audit functions across various departments. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective internal audit procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of existing controls and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conducting audits to assess the adequacy and reliability of financial reporting and internal control systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of audit findings and recommendations.
  • Communicating audit results and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

You will also be required to maintain effective relationships with departmental heads and staff to ensure seamless integration of audit activities into day-to-day operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of internal audit principles and practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6+ years of experience in internal auditing or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
