About the Role

As a software development engineer in our enterprise data solution team, you will have the opportunity to design and implement high-performance data pipelines to load into our master data warehouse. Our data warehouse provides analytical capabilities to numerous business users who help customers answer their business problems through data.

The role involves participating in medium-to-large size data engineering projects, discovering and incorporating new sources of real-time, streaming, batch, and API-based data into our platform to enhance insights. You will also assist business teams in utilizing data-driven insights to drive growth and transformation.

  • Data Engineering Project Participation: Participate in medium-to-large size data engineering projects to build high-performance data pipelines and integrate new data sources into our platform.
  • Data Ingestion and Processing: Discover, ingest, and incorporate new sources of real-time, streaming, batch, and API-based data into our platform to enhance insights.
  • Business Collaboration: Assist business teams in utilizing data-driven insights to drive growth and transformation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in data warehouse-related projects in product or service-based organizations.
  • Expertise in data engineering and implementing multiple end-to-end DW projects in big data environments.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with databases like Oracle and Netezza.
  • Prior experience building data pipelines through Spark with Scala/Python/Java on Hadoop is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Nifi and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills for debugging production issues and strong communication skills for collaboration and stakeholder management.
