**Job Title: Senior Director of Media and Communication

Location: Delhi, India

Experience: 15+ years

**Job Purpose:** To develop, plan, and execute a comprehensive media strategy that enhances the public image and visibility of our organization across traditional and digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals, journalists, and editors.
  • Develop and disseminate press releases, media advisories, and official statements to enhance our reputation and visibility.
  • Organize press conferences, interviews, and media briefings to promote our events, reports, and leadership.
  • Ensure regular and impactful media coverage for our organization's activities, initiatives, and key messaging.
  • Maintain an updated media contact database for efficient communication and outreach.

**Content Creation:

  • Develop high-quality content for speeches, op-eds, articles, and official communications that align with our organization's values and goals.
  • Support in preparing talking points and briefing notes for our leadership team.
  • Create press kits, media Q&As, backgrounders, and other communication materials to promote our organization's work.

**Digital & Social Media:

  • Work with our digital team to promote our organization's activities and initiatives through social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our organization's messaging and goals.
  • Monitor digital mentions and coverage to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

**Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze media coverage to prepare regular reports on our organization's visibility and reputation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our media campaigns and suggest improvements to enhance our impact.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in mass communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in media/public affairs/PR agency/corporate communication.
  • Proven track record of working with government bodies, industry associations, startups, and investors.
