Student Support Professional Role

This student support professional role is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can ensure students have a smooth academic journey by managing administrative processes, providing timely assistance, and maintaining accurate student data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As the primary point of contact for newly enrolled students, you will help them navigate campus resources, policies, and academic expectations.
  • You will maintain and update student records in the Student Information System (SIS), including enrolment status, grades, and personal information.
  • Responsibilities also include semester-wise student fee collection and issuing receipts as per institutional guidelines.
  • Providing assistance to students via email, phone, and chat in line with defined SLAs is also a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Communicating important information such as future semester payment deadlines, policy updates, and key events through various channels is essential.
  • Educating students on financial aid options, scholarships, grants, and associated application processes and deadlines is also a vital responsibility.
  • Helping students with non-technical issues during course registration and resolving enrolment-related errors are also key responsibilities.
  • Sharing updates about alumni events, guest lectures, webinars, and networking opportunities to foster engagement and learning is an exciting part of this role.
  • Generating customized reports and compiling data for internal use or regulatory compliance is also a critical function.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 1–3 years of experience in student support, operations, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with online education platforms, CRM systems, data analytics tools, and helpdesk software is highly valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a student-first mindset are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working with data are necessary.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment is critical.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage priorities and deadlines effectively are required.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving attitude and data-driven decision-making approach is ideal.
  • Understanding of the student lifecycle and ability to support learners at each stage of their academic journey is essential.
