Finance Manager Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a qualified Finance Manager to oversee end-to-end finance operations. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, supported by a strong articleship background in audit, taxation, or finance.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assisting in monthly/quarterly & ad hoc investor reporting.
  • Ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing activities.

Budgeting and forecasting are also essential skills for this role, as the Finance Manager will need to support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Additionally, the successful candidate will ensure accounting accuracy and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.). They will also assist with internal and statutory audits and coordinate with auditors.

In terms of internal controls, the Finance Manager will help design and monitor internal control systems and processes, maintaining accurate documentation and supporting implementation of best practices.

Cross-functional collaboration is crucial for this role, as the Finance Manager will work closely with business, legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure alignment and transparency in financial matters.

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, good understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software like Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks.
