Job Title: Software Engineer, Principal

What You Will Do
  • We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead our development team and drive innovation in front-end framework design and implementation.
  • You will be responsible for architecting and defining the front-end framework to solve complex designs and interactions, as well as writing JavaScript to support interactive website initiatives.
  • As a principal software engineer, you will work closely with user experience designers, graphic designers, fellow software engineers, and quality engineers to meet measurable goals and deliver high-quality products.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in HTML5, CSS, Angular/React, Redux, Redux middleware, React Hooks, JavaScript (ES6 and beyond), TypeScript, Nextjs, JAVA/PHP/Go/Python.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Adept at developing, designing & scaling complex systems both horizontally & vertically.
  • Unit Testing, Git, CI/CD using Jenkins.
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with analytics frameworks viz. GTM, Hotjar, etc.
  • Exposure to technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, API Gateways, Service Workers, CDN, etc. is a plus.
  • Openness to change and eagerness to work with tools and technologies that may be outside your comfort zone.
  • Excellent conceptual, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated with the ability to take charge or play a supporting role.
