Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient cloud-based systems.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience working in a DevOps or SRE role, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure. You should also have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as server-side software engineering skills in languages such as Python, Go, and Java.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and efficient cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform and services are production-ready.
  • Influence the design and architecture of cloud-based systems.
  • Work with software engineers to optimize and develop repeatable systems.
  • Provide production support and creatively solve challenging engineering problems.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a DevOps or SRE role.
  • Experience with cloud platforms GCP, AWS, Azure, containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Server-side software engineering skills with Python, Go, Java, BASH, etc.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, with a focus on performance monitoring and tracing instrumentation, and SLI/SLO/SLAs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Passion for leading large technical initiatives, consensus building, and influencing design decisions.
  • Ample experience gathering requirements from technical and business stakeholders, and reaching prioritization consensus.
