Treasury Finance Specialist

Summary:

  • A highly skilled professional is required to manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and financial statement analysis.

Description:

Cash and Liquidity Management
  1. Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, financial statement analysis and investment strategies.
  2. Develop cash targets to support efficient liquidity management.
  3. Oversee electronic cash receipt and cash disbursement processing and accounting.
  4. Oversee daily cash positioning activities including managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation and bank reporting.
  5. Manage excess operating cash to obtain optimum interest revenue.
  6. Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements.
  7. Develop a structure to work with business partners to optimize working capital.
  8. Oversee banking relationships and payment processing.
    1. Leverage tools such as ERP systems, TMS and data visualization platforms to enhance decision-making and tracking of KPIs.
      1. Drive automation and technology integration to streamline treasury processes.
        1. Maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
    Education and Qualifications
    1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management or finance required
    2. MBA or advanced degree in business, finance or management required
    Required Skills
    1. Strong knowledge of treasury best practices, including financial regulations and compliance requirements
    2. Knowledge of general treasury, forecasting, budgeting and accounting
    3. Strong knowledge of financial modelling
    4. Familiarity with BI tools for reporting and analysis
    5. Proficient in treasury management systems (TMSs)
    6. Proficient with MS Office Suite including strong Excel skills
