Job Title: Senior C# Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Software Engineer to join our team at Lemon Technologies. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and reusable C# code with a focus on performance, quality, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of C# developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Translate user stories and requirements into functional and efficient C# applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable C# code with a focus on performance, quality, and user experience.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex technical problems, devising effective solutions.
  • Champion best practices and coding standards, conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to streamline development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in C# and the .NET ecosystem, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
  • Provide technical leadership and make critical decisions throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements:

  • Proficient in C# and its ecosystem (experience with specific .NET versions a plus).
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Experience in building reusable C# libraries.
  • Familiarity with concurrency patterns in C#.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with web application frameworks (e.g. Nancy) and potentially others.
  • Proficient in Windows Presentation Framework (WPF/WCF).
  • Experience with automated testing platforms and unit testing.
  • Proficient in code versioning tools (e.g. Git).
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
