About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MS SQL DBA to design, implement, and maintain high-performance databases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various MS SQL database versions, including 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2022.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply SQL Server service packs and database upgrades on same server and new server.
  • Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting of users and application-related issues.
  • Monitor databases using tools like SCOM, Rubrik, Redgate, and others.
  • Implement continuous process improvement and automation using YAML and PowerShell.
  • Maintain HA solutions like Always ON setup and maintenance, Log shipping, Database mirroring, and replication.
  • Upgrade, patch, and migrate to On Prem and Cloud environments.
  • Configure database security and encryption using TDE and masking.
  • Manage database backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery planning.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working with MS SQL databases.
  • Experience with Azure Arc Managed Instance SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
