Job Opportunity: Video Content Creator

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Video Content Creator. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling and a passion for creating engaging visual content tailored for digital platforms.

  • Edit short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.
  • Trim footage segments, assemble sequences, and add transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
  • Create motion graphics and simple animations using Adobe After Effects or similar tools.
  • Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
  • Evaluate projects for completion within deadlines and ensure delivery in required formats and resolutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
  • A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
  • Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement content strategies.
  • Conceptualize, create, and edit high-quality video content that meets brand standards.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of video production and post-production processes.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our team by sharing expertise and best practices.
