Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for our mobile applications. The successful candidate will work on both customer and driver apps (Android & iOS).

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java programming for test automation and proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.). Hands-on experience with mobile testing (Android & iOS) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is also required.

The role involves executing and managing automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously, performing API testing to validate backend services and data integrity, and contributing to web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.

The candidate should be able to integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) and use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Java-based frameworks.
  • Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Contribute to web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run automated tests on Sauce Labs or similar device farms and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with mobile testing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of web testing (Selenium/WebDriver).
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.
