Motion Graphics Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Motion Graphic Designer to join our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality engaging and dynamic visuals for various media.

  • Conceptualization and Storyboarding: Collaborating with clients or creative teams to understand project requirements, develop visual concepts, and create storyboards to outline the animation sequence.
  • Design and Animation: Utilizing industry-standard software to design and animate graphic elements, typography, characters, and visual effects in 2D or 3D.
  • Typography and Kinetic Typography: Selecting and animating text effectively to convey messages and create visual interest.
  • Audio Integration: Syncing animations with voiceovers, sound effects, and music to create a cohesive and engaging final product.
  • Video Editing: Combining motion graphics with live-action footage and performing post-production tasks using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring that all motion graphics align with the client's brand guidelines, including color palettes, typography, and visual style.
  • Staying Current: Keeping up to date with the latest design trends, animation techniques, and software advancements.
  • Optimization: Preparing and exporting animations in various formats optimized for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast, etc.).

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of design principles, including layout, composition, color theory, and typography.
  • The ability to execute projects from concept development through delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, and video production.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering value to the team.
  • Proficiency in animation principles, including timing, spacing, easing, anticipation, etc.
  • Mastery of industry-standard software, with expertise in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Creativity and artistic vision, with the ability to develop original and engaging visual concepts.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and visual consistency in all aspects of the animation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well with others.
  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn, staying current with the latest design trends and software advancements.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics work.
