Hardware Design Engineer Opportunity

This role involves designing and developing hardware for mission-critical devices that operate in challenging environments.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for embedded and IoT devices, including design, prototype, and test phases
  • Select, validate, and qualify electronic components for rugged and high-reliability use, ensuring they meet the required standards
  • Analyze hardware failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, enhancing overall system reliability
  • Support electromagnetic interference (EMI)/electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in PCB design and embedded hardware engineering, with a strong understanding of electronics and component selection
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Altium, Eagle, and KiCAD, with the ability to create accurate and efficient designs
  • Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI testing principles and certification processes, with the ability to ensure compliance
  • Familiarity with ruggedization techniques for aerospace and defense applications, as well as power optimization strategies for IoT systems
